One system, end to end

From the phone call to the cash — nothing falls between the cracks.

Most service firms run four systems and a WhatsApp group. The job lives in one, the asset history in another, the certificate in a folder and the invoice two weeks late. Fisem keeps the whole chain connected, so the office always knows what happened on site — and can bill it the same day.

01

The call comes in

Logged against the right customer, site and unit in seconds, with the contract and response clock already attached.

02

The engineer works

The visit, the sheet and the unit's history are on the tablet — and stay there when the signal goes.

03

The evidence lands

Readings, photos, parts and the customer's signature come back attached to the job, not to an inbox.

04

The invoice goes out

Labour, parts and cover are already priced. Approve and send — while the van is still on the estate.

Scheduling that fits the day

Drag a job onto an engineer and the board re-reads itself — skills, patch, response clock and what is already booked. Changes reach the van straight away.

An engineer app that works offline

Plant rooms, basements and cold stores have no signal. The app carries the visit, the sheet and the history, and syncs itself the moment there is a bar.

An asset register worth reading

Every unit keeps its own record: what it is, what was fitted, what it read last time and what it cost to keep alive. Scan the nameplate and it opens.

Compliance that watches the calendar

Statutory checks run to each unit's own interval, not to one contract date. Fisem tells you what falls due, and stops a certificate leaving without the evidence behind it.

Contracts and planned maintenance

Cover, response times and visit frequencies live on the contract. The year's visits generate themselves, and the engineer sees on site what is covered and what is chargeable.

Parts, van stock and money

Stock moves off the van as it is fitted, quotes turn into jobs and jobs turn into invoices — so the margin on a visit is a number, not a feeling.

Inside Fisem

Designed for the two places the work actually happens.

The office needs to see the whole day at once. The engineer needs one thing at a time, in gloves, with no signal. Fisem is built for both.

The certificate writes itself

Built from the evidence already captured, checked against the engineer's qualification, and sent to the customer before the van moves.

Statutory work, evidenced

The part of the job that ends up in front of a regulator.

Refrigerant records, pressure systems, electrical inspection, gas safety — each with its own interval, its own evidence and its own consequence for getting it wrong. Most service software treats them as a note on a job. Fisem treats them as the thing the whole record is built around.

Each unit keeps its own datesIntervals follow the equipment — its charge, its category, its regime — not one date copied across a contract.
Only what applies to your tradeA refrigeration firm never sees lifting or fire paperwork. You are set up with your trades, and nothing else.
Evidence before the certificateThe certificate can't be issued until the check that supports it has been done, by someone qualified to do it.
A history you can hand overEvery visit, reading and certificate stays on the unit — ready for an audit, a claim or a new duty-holder.

Getting started

Live in a day. Not a six-month implementation.

Fisem ships with the categories, maintenance templates and compliance regimes your trade already uses. You are not configuring a platform — you are switching one on.

1

Bring your customers in

Import the customer, site and equipment lists you already keep. We will map a messy spreadsheet for you if that is what you have.

2

Pick your trades

Choose refrigeration, HVAC, catering or cold storage and the right categories, checks and templates load themselves. Nothing you don't need appears.

3

Put it in the vans

Engineers sign in on any tablet or phone and start their day. Most are working the first sheet inside ten minutes.

What size of firm is Fisem for?
UK service and repair businesses running roughly two to fifty engineers — the size where spreadsheets have stopped coping but an enterprise rollout would be absurd.
Does it really work with no signal?
Yes. The engineer app holds the visit, the sheet and the equipment history on the device. Everything captured while offline queues and syncs on its own once there is a connection — nothing is lost and nothing needs re-typing.
Which mobile devices are supported?
The Android app is available now and runs on any reasonably recent phone or tablet. The iOS app is in build and coming soon — until it lands, iPhone and iPad users work in the browser, which carries the same screens.
We already use accounting software. Do we have to leave it?
No. Fisem is the system of record for the work; invoices can be raised here and passed to the accounts package you already run.
What happens when we outgrow a plan?
Move up a plan whenever you like, or stay where you are and add users at £18 each per month. Past 30 users we will put an Enterprise plan together around how your team is actually shaped.
